download your claire’s wallpaper
If your computer runs Microsoft Windows:
step 1: Right click on the picture to the left. A menu will appear. Select "Set as Wallpaper" or "Set as Background."
step 2: Check your computer desktop to see the wallpaper. If the wallpaper looks funny, right click on the desktop, and select "Properties" from the menu.
step 3: A box called "Display Properties" will open. Choose the "Backgrounds" tab.
step 4: From the lower right hand corner of the "Backgrounds" box, select "Center" from the drop-down menu called "Picture Display", and then click "Apply".
If you use a Macintosh computer with OS9:
step 1: While holding down the control key, click on the picture to the left. A menu will appear.
step 2: Choose "download image to disk" or "save image as" from the menu. Select a location to save the image.
step 3: While holding down the control key, click on your desktop. A menu will appear. Select “Change Desktop Background…”
step 4: A box will open – choose the "desktop" tab and click on the "place picture" button. (If you already have a picture on your desktop, the button will say "remove picture" click it once, and then click it again).
step 5: Choose the picture you saved in step #2: first click "open" and then click "set desktop." The picture's now on your desktop. If it looks funny, change the drop-down menu underneath the button to read "center image".
If you use a Macintosh computer with OS X:
step 1: While holding down the control key, click on the picture to the left. A menu will appear.
step 2: Choose "download link to disk" or "download image to disk" from the menu. Select a location to save the image.
step 3: While holding down the control key, click on your desktop. A menu will appear. Select “Change Desktop Background…”
step 4: A box will open – choose the "Collection" drop down list and select “Choose Folder”. Navigate to the location of the file you downloaded in step 2, and click “Choose” button.
step 5: A thumbnail of the desktop background you downloaded in step #2 will appear in the box, click on the thumbnail. If it looks funny, change the drop-down menu above the button to read "center image".
